Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) is looking for a friendly, professional and proactive Receptionist to be the face of our Headquarters.

As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, partners and stakeholders while ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk and reception area on a daily basis
  • Greet and welcome visitors, guests and walk-in customers professionally
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls promptly
  • Provide accurate information via phone, email and in person
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or department
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and professionalism
  • Monitor visitor logbook and issue visitor badges in accordance with security procedures
  • Maintain documentation and transaction records
  • Perform general clerical duties (filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager when required

Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications

  • SPM or Diploma holder

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a related field (Receptionist / Front Office / Administrative Support)

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with office equipment (printers, fax machines, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • High level of integrity

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written)
