11 June 2026
Asia School of Business, Kuala Lumpur
MRCS was represented by Muhammad Amir Ruzain, Legal Officer, at the Workshop on Advocacy for the Protection of Refugees conducted by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (IIHL) at the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur on 11 June 2026.
The workshop introduced protection analysis tools including the risk equation, the problem tree, and the egg model, and covered the formulation of advocacy objectives, stakeholder mapping, and message development. These methods offer a shared framework that complements MRCS’s long-standing work with refugees and Restoring Family Links, from the Indochina crisis camps to current work with separated families and unaccompanied children.
