IHL Handbook for Malaysian Parliamentarians launched at Parliament (2022)

In May 2022, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Malaysia’s accession to the Geneva Conventions in 1962, ICRC and MRCS launched Promoting Respect for International Humanitarian Law: A Handbook for Malaysian Parliamentarians at the Malaysian Parliament, jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute for Political Reform and Democracy (REFORM Malaysia). The Handbook remains a reference point for parliamentary understanding of Malaysia’s IHL obligations.
