Our Training Institute offers expert-led courses in First Aid, CPR, and Psychosocial Support to equip individuals with essential skills for emergencies. Whether you're a professional or a community member, our training empowers you to save lives and provide critical support when it’s needed most.

Introduction to First Aid & CPR + AED

This course provides an entry-level overview of basic first aid and life-saving techniques. Participants will learn how to respond to common injuries and medical emergencies, as well as how to perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Ideal for beginners who want a foundational understanding of first aid. (1 Day Training)

Basic First Aid & CPR + AED

This course builds on the introductory level by offering more in-depth practical skills for managing various emergencies, including fractures, burns, and choking. It also covers CPR and AED use. It’s suitable for individuals looking to gain a more comprehensive understanding of first aid. (2 Days Training)

Advanced First Aid & CPR + AED

This course is designed for individuals requiring a higher level of expertise, such as healthcare providers or emergency responders. It includes advanced techniques for managing severe trauma, complex medical emergencies, and the prolonged care of patients. CPR and AED skills are enhanced to deal with critical situations. (3 Days Training)

Psychological First Aid

This course focuses on providing emotional and psychological support during and after a crisis. Participants will learn how to offer mental health assistance, reduce stress, and help individuals cope with trauma, making it ideal for those working in disaster response or caregiving roles. (2 Days Training)

First Aid & CPR Training Courses

Comprehensive Training Options for Basic and Introduction Levels

We offer two structured First Aid & CPR training options to suit your needs: a 2-day Basic First Aid & CPR training and a 1-day Introduction to First Aid & CPR training. Each course includes lectures, practical exercises, and an optional theory examination to solidify your knowledge and skills. Meal and beverage services are provided for participants in our Public Training sessions.

All training sessions are conducted at the Malaysian Red Crescent Headquarters, ensuring a comfortable and well-equipped learning environment.

In House Training

Empower your team with life-saving skills through our tailored in-house first aid training. Delivered by certified professionals, our courses equip participants with essential first aid knowledge, including CPR, wound care, and emergency response techniques. Ensure your workplace is prepared for any situation with comprehensive, hands-on training designed to meet your organization's specific needs.

Booking Policy

In order to secure a place on the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) public first aid training, the full fee must be paid at time of making the booking at least 7 days before the commencement of the training. This is a “first-come first-serve” basis only where if the number of participants have reached the maximum number of 35 we will advise the the late comers to book the training at another date. A booking is made once the training date is agreed to be reserved and full payment is received. Cancellations of the training or a “no show” on the commencement day of the training will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Fee will not be refunded once payment is made

We aim to keep our training fees low so that we can offer a cost-effective training solution to community organizations, businesses and individuals. In order to be able to do this, we are regrettably forced to charge for cancelled bookings. 

At any stage, we are happy to change the participant where someone cannot attend but where an alternative person can attend in their place. We will not charge for this name change which can be done up to commencement day of the training. If the participant/s wish to change the training date please inform us at least 7 days before the commencement of the training. Changing of date or participant/s are allowed only once.

Official Receipt

Will be issued by the MRCS Finance Department according to the MRCS procedures. Please contact directly to the MRCS Finance Department if there is any queries regarding the official receipts.

Handouts

MRCS shall provide one set of the training materials for each participant during the training. The following are the training materials:

  1. a) One (1) First Aid Manual
  2. b) One (1) Triangular Bandage

Rewards

Participants who passed the examination will receive a First Aid Certificate (Certificate of Competence). Participants MUST attend all training sessions to be certified. Certificate will be issued after the MRCS has received payment of the service rendered and will be processed within 2 weeks after the completion of the training. The Certificate is valid up to 3 years.

Confirmation

Please reply to us through email if your establishment agrees to the terms and conditions provided to you. Walk-in registration begins at 8.30 a.m. in our premise. Training will start from 9.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. Participants may also register through online in our website redcrescent.org.my
