1. Eligibility
1.1 The competition is open to all MRC members.
1.2 The competition is open to citizens of Malaysia only.
1.3 Participants must be aged 12 and above.
2. Submission Guidelines
2.1 All designs must be original and created solely by the participant.
2.2 Each participant may submit only one entry.
2.3 Submissions must be in digital PDF and .ai format (high resolution, 300 DPI) and accompanied by a brief description (maximum 200 words) explaining the design’s significance.
2.4 Physical samples of the design may be requested from finalists for evaluation.
2.5 The submission deadline is December 31, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Design Requirements
3.1 The design must incorporate the 7 principles of the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC): Humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.
3.2 The design should reflect Malaysian and ASEAN cultural elements.
4. Judging Criteria
4.1 Entries will be evaluated based on:
– Relevance to Theme
– Creativity and Originality
– Aesthetic Appeal
– Cultural Representation
4.2 A panel of judges will be appointed by MRC, and their decision will be final.
5. Rights and Ownership
5.1 By entering the competition, participants grant MRC the right to use, reproduce, and display their designs.
6. Disqualification
6.1 MRC reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the competition guidelines or is deemed inappropriate.
6.2 Any participant found to have plagiarized or infringed on the rights of others will be disqualified.
7. Amendment of Terms
7.1 MRC reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.
8. Acceptance of Terms
8.1 By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
