
The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) and Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah (YSB) are proud to co-host the YSB-MRC Charity Golf Tournament 2025, a meaningful initiative to raise funds in support of humanitarian programmes benefiting underserved populations across Malaysia.
Founded nearly 77 years ago, the MRC is a humanitarian organisation established under the Malaysian Parliament Act 540, serving as an auxiliary to the government in delivering a wide range of humanitarian services. Meanwhile, YSB is a charitable foundation founded in 1996 has for almost three decades actively carried out welfare and development programmes benefiting underprivileged communities across the country. To date, YSB has successfully organised 27 charity golf tournaments over the span of 30 years, reflecting its long-standing commitment to philanthropy through sport.
Proceeds from the tournament will directly support MRC and YSB’s ongoing efforts to uplift lives and build resilient communities. This includes strengthening disaster response operations and emergency relief efforts, expanding first aid training and mobile health services for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, refugees, migrants and the Orang Asli as well as providing education support, food aid and community development programmes for low-income families and children.
Funds raised will be channelled into both organisations’ core focus areas delivering timely assistance, strengthening health and safety awareness and promoting long-term community resilience.
