As part of the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Public Bank donated a total RM750,000 to nine charitable organizations, including the Malaysian Red Crescent. The event was held yesterday at Menara Public Bank after the launch of the Chinese edition of Teh Hong Piow - A Banking Thoroughbred. The book launch was officiated by Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting. The Malaysian Red Crescent Secretary General, Maj Gen Dato Haji Megat Mohd Yusof bin Dato Haji Megat Mahmud (Rtd) received the donation on behalf of the Malaysian Red Crescent.
