Malaysian software development company dJava Factory contributed RM15,000 to the MRCS International Relief Fund in aid of the Haiti Earthquake disaster victims.

The cheque was presented by dJava Factory’s General Manager, Ms. Wong Siew Hui to the MRC National Chairman, YM Tunku Tan Sri Dato’ Shahriman Tunku Sulaiman at the MRC National Headquarters today.

Speaking on behalf of the company, Ms. Wong Siew Hui said that her staff and company were moved to contribute something upon reading that half of Haiti’s general population were under the age of 20.

“Our company is young figuratively and literally, as our company is only a year old and most of our staff are in their 20s.  With the focus of our business being human capital development, we were moved to assist the people of Haiti in some way.” she said.

Meanwhile, the MRC National Chairman thanked to all Malaysians who was contributed towards the Fund since it’s launched on 15 January 2010. He hopes that more Malaysians come forward to help the MRC to make a difference to those vulnerable people that we serve.
